When you get to the Dover Stone Church Preserve, walk up the slight hill until you see a dark green sign that says “Dover Stone Church” on it. Walk down the stone stairs through a grassy meadow with trees on both sides of you. Walk up another set of stone stairs. When you get to the top of the stairs you will be on a trail that leads through the woods. Walk along this trail until you come to a sign that says “Welcome to the Stone Church.” Once you see this sign continue on the trail next to it. Continue on this trail until you come to a wooden bridge that crosses over a brook. Cross that bridge. After you cross the bridge you will come to another grassy meadow. Keep to the right on the trail and walk along with the brook on you right. Continue on the trail with stones on it as a path. Walk all the way up until you're close to the cave and you will see another wooden foot bridge to your right. Cross that bridge and turn left, walking towards the cave. Halfway to the cave you will see a large rock on your left. There might be faded black markings that say “EOT,” or a carved “SC” on the rock. From the rock look down to your right across the path for a small rock that looks like a thumbs up someone made with their right hand. This will be the only rock that will be able to be moved by hand. In the small cave area you will find the letterbox. Once found, put the thumbs up rock EXACTLY back where it was after you put the letterbox back inside the small cave area.
