Park at Southern Community Park and follow the paved path past "stone henge" and the playground yeilding to the right/North. You'll see and pass bright green exercise equipment and a sign pointing you to Scroggs Elementary on your right. Pass that (not the path we want) and continue on the main path. Continuing down the path about half a mile, you will see the school on your right with a bright blue roof. This is Mary Scroggs elementary, home of the Scroggs Frogs (they rhyme, if you're unfamiliar with the school).

Continue past this paved, uphill turn, but keep your eyes peeled for the favorite: double-trees! There is a double tulip (poplar) tree as well as a double oak tree on your right! How lucky! Today we're going to venture behind the double-oak (both trunks are approximately the same size, whereas the tulip tree has one that is much smaller than the main trunk), being mindful of things that bite/poke/sting, and look towards the rear of the tree and under a vine "house" made just for our Tupperware container!! (It's planted approximately 12 inches from the base of the tree, away from the path). This is a busy path so try to wait for some down time before pouncing on it. There is exercise equipment nearby and signs you can pretend to read (or actually read them).

Once you find it, be sure to stamp in! Please replace the box so that it can be found by others using these clues. Thanks for visiting!

If you hop (hehe- get it?) back on the path and continue just a few feet longer, the path crosses Aberdeen Drive, where you can follow the sidewalk to the stone pavilion and a beautiful crepe myrtle walkway that takes you up to the school (photo on AQ). When you get to the school driveway you can turn right and that'll take you back to the exercise equipment. This can also be a quick way to kill some time if lots of people are using the path. Turn left to get back to your car... Or take this opportunity to find the Stand-up Alumni, nearby (in a duct-tape pouch; not Tupperware)!
